Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Vera Wallet application and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Vera Wallet ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Services.

1. Services Description

Vera Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet that enables users to store, send, receive, and manage digital assets on the Voi Network and other supported blockchain networks. "Non-custodial" means that we do not store or have access to your recovery phrases, private keys, or funds. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your recovery phrases and private keys.

2. Eligibility

By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
  • You are not using the Services from a region where cryptocurrency activities are prohibited or restricted;
  • You will not use the Services for any illegal purposes.

3. Your Responsibilities

As a user of our Services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your recovery phrases, private keys, and wallet access;
  • You understand that lost recovery phrases and private keys cannot be recovered by us, and may result in permanent loss of access to your digital assets;
  • You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any transaction details before confirming transactions;
  • You will maintain appropriate security measures to protect your devices and access to the Vera Wallet application;
  • You understand the risks associated with cryptocurrency transactions, including price volatility, regulatory uncertainty, and technical vulnerabilities;
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction when using our Services.

4. Intellectual Property

The Vera Wallet application, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You may not:

  • Modify, adapt, or hack the Services or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Services;
  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Services without our express written permission;
  • Use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer any portion of the Services.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE, OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES;
  • ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES;
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT;
  • LOSS OF YOUR RECOVERY PHRASES, PRIVATE KEYS, OR DIGITAL ASSETS;
  • ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR INACCURACIES IN THE SERVICES;
  • PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SERVICES.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICES OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE THE SERVICES AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

WE DO NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF THE CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICES.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, and our respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; or (d) any claim that your use of the Services caused damage to a third party.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We do not warrant the offerings of any of these entities/individuals or their websites.

You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services.
